Kgosi Bumps Into Lehasa At Little Paris | See

The popular SABC1 drama series Skeem Saam has been filming in Hartbeespoort the past week.

The large film crew and celebrities descended on French Toast at Little Paris on Monday, shooting scenes until Wednesday.

Production manager Oyama Makhumsha said the team chose Little Paris and French Toast as a location because it fits in with their storyline. “I cannot give too much away. Let’s just say we are recreating Paris at Little Paris.”

The scenes at Little Paris were filmed around the popular character Chef Kgosi, portrayed by actor Katlego Letsholonyane.

This local drama series revolves around the ups and downs of teenagers trying to find their way through life’s struggles. It examines the plight of today’s male children and the tough challenges they face transitioning into manhood.

The underlying premise for the series is that real men are made, not born.
Skeem Saam is the second most-watched soapie in South Africa after Uzalo The popular show peaked at 4.3 million viewers in April.

The scenes shot in Hartbeespoort aired in September and will be until October 2023.

Skeem Saam airs on SABC1 Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 19:00
