Pearl said they do not pay attention to the rumors that they are dating anymore, “It’s like when you know something is so false that you can’t even really pay attention to it,” she said.

Zinhle also weighed in on the rumors and said even if they were dating so what?

“This is the thing for me and Pearl. We not even trying to entertain it because even if we were, so what? But we spoke about this, that Pearl and I are in an industry where friendships are a blur.”

“We are in an industry where we have not experienced a sisterhood, so when we found each other — or when she found me — we just couldn’t believe what we have, a friendship that is actually real,” said Zinhle.

When I first met you, you used to always chill with this girl. I never saw you with a guy… And you’re dressing in, like, tomboy clothes.”

Zinhle responded by saying she is not lesbian and there is nothing wrong with being lesbian.

“A lot of people seem to think so. It’s so weird. I don’t know if there’s a lesbian look. I mean there’s nothing wrong with being lesbian. I am definitely not a lesbian and it is a fair judgement,”

she said.
