I was having a walk around the house this morning when I saw something interesting. I saw this little snail crawling on the floor, I decided to take my time to study it very well.
So, I stood at a distance, watching it as it move. The snail was so focused and determined, despite it’s slow pace in movement. I got closer to the small creature, whenever I slightly touched the eye… It will retract and after a while, it will still continue its journey.
I continued this for a while before I called olaedo to come and observe something with me. You know, children can be overzealous sometimes, when she came, and I pointed her to observe this particular thing with me… She was happy that she quickly wanted to pick it up. But I ordered her only to observe and learn. Olaedo was suggesting we pick it, maybe the mom will use it in cooking for her that morning. After a little more while, I beckoned on Olivia to come and see something. Immediately she came and I pointed to the snail for her to see, Olivia just went straight and picked it up… Saying that I didn’t call her to come and waste her time. That was how Olaedo and I went back inside. Our joy has been caught shot by Olivia.
Moral of the story:
It is always rewarding to be focused and determined in life… Determination is one of the core key to success. Do not expect people to always understand things the way you do, people see things from different perspective and sometimes what you think would work for you Will not work for another person. Because you understand something from a different point doesn’t mean that everybody else would. Life is not always normal, sometimes go out of the normal and do the abnormal. Hasten your pace because the world won’t wait for you. Anything you do Make time a priority before Olivia will come and use you for her soup… 😂
